We are looking for a Plumber to join our Operations Team.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4.30 pm and Friday 8 am to 1 pm).

The successful candidate must be time served with a relevant qualification of SVQ Level 3 or above in Plumbing and experience in a similar environment. In addition, they will also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of:

· Undertaking the full range of plumbing duties as required

· Carrying out a range of emergency, urgent and reactive repairs, void repairs and planned works to Fife Housing properties

· Carrying out all diagnostic and/or pre-measuring work with the aim of completing repairs within the same appointment, wherever possible

· Participating in and providing an emergency repair and 'out of hours' service as required. Additional standby and call-out payments are paid for this service

· Completing works in accordance with Fife Housing's specifications and in compliance with the relevant legislation and industry best practice

· Must hold a full driving licence

A Gas Safe certificate would also be beneficial, but is not essential.
