Full job description

We're a medium-sized plumbing company covering reactive and planned work across the Notts/Derby area. We're looking for a skilled, motivated plumbing engineer to join our team.

The role covers a mix of reactive callouts and longer planned works — cylinder replacements, radiator swaps, cold water storage tank swaps, and soil ventilation pipe work — so you'll get variety day to day rather than being purely reactive. You'll be working alongside a team of experienced technicians, troubleshooting and repairing a range of plumbing systems.

What we're looking for:

  • A strong technical plumbing background, able to work confidently across both reactive and planned jobs
  • Powerflushing experience and patch plastering skills are an advantage but not essential — training in powerflushing is available
  • Ability to work well under pressure and think on your feet
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to join the on-call rota (currently around one weekend in six), with overtime paid at an enhanced rate

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 plus, inclusive of bonuses and overtime
