Full job description

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems in residential properties.

Job Overview

Due to continued growth within the company, we are looking for employed or self-employed heating engineer to carry out plumbing and heating works in the Hampshire area, works will be anything from changing a tap washer to full installations of heating, no one day is the same and all works is with in customers houses

Responsibilities

You must have a great all round knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry and able to problem solve on the go working on your own

Good rates of pay with the potential to earn if you are willing to put in the hours, you will be supplied with a company van and Fuel card (after probation period), uniform, holiday pay and Pension scheme, all you will need to supply is your own tools of the trade.

You must have at least 5 years’ experience, have experience in responsive repairs, have a good knowledge of heating and plumbing, have your own tools, be clean and tidy, good personality and have good customer skills, Please DO NOT reply if you cannot meet these criteria.

In summary, you should have:

  • - proof of trade qualifications

- 2 checkable references
- minimum 5 years’ experience
- own hand tools
- Be able to pass a DBS (CRB) Standard Check
- ACS certificates (Gas)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
  • A valid clean driving licence is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
