Our small family run company is growing. We have secured a full work order book until 2027 within Anglia.

We are looking for another professional, experienced and friendly quality multi trader to join our team.

We need people that do not need constant supervision! If you need to have constant instruction then this role is not suitable. If you cannot work alone this role is not suitable. We need people with experience!

Pay will depend on speed quality and ability. We need people with necessary construction experience. This role is NOT suitable if you are DIY level without experience. Please do not apply if your only experience is building your own house for the past few years, or you would like to try construction as a new career. Qualifications or relevant experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Basic plumbing qualifications preferred but NOT ESSENTIAL.
• Structural repairs including Heli bars, and some minor masonry work.
• Repointing.
• Patching/ Plastering (to a good standard).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Skimming ceilings.
• Small carpentry jobs (replacing locks, shelving etc).
• Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties.
• Other experience is a bonus.
• All training can be provided, including City and guilds.
• Laboring duties.

Attributes:

-DBS Check clear! We work with vulnerable and young people at times.

- Currently directly employed, with proven long term employment with the same employer would be ideal.

You must be able to work in occupied homes and premises, this role is not suitable if you are used to new build volume housing.

-Proven experience as a multitrader, and able to show past projects and work.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying and other areas of construction is a bonus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills is a must.

-Friendly and professional attitude is a must!

-This job will involve occasionally dealing with 'Tricky clients' which will require a disciplined person who takes pride in their job role.
