With over 30 venues, including 12 swimming pools, there is always plenty of varied work for our plumbers. We are looking for an experienced and reliable plumber to maintain plumbing, heating, water and drainage systems across our facilities. You will complete planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and help keep our buildings safe, compliant and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Complete planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs across plumbing, heating, water, drainage and sanitation systems.
  • Inspect systems, diagnose faults and identify recurring issues to improve reliability and reduce disruption.
  • Manage tools, materials, spare parts and stock, keeping equipment safe and serviceable.
  • Work safely by following risk assessments, safe systems of work, relevant legislation and PPE requirements.
  • Work effectively with colleagues, contractors and other trades, escalating complex or high-risk issues when specialist support is needed.
  • Accept, update and close work orders in the CAFM system, maintaining accurate records of completed work.

What You’ll Bring:

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, together with a completed registered apprenticeship and practical plumbing installation training.
  • At least two years’ post-apprenticeship experience working independently across plumbing, heating, drainage, sanitation and welfare systems.
  • Experience with heating and water systems in sports facilities or swimming pool environments would be an advantage.
  • A full driving licence, as the role involves travelling between our venues in a company vehicle.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and make safe, practical decisions while minimising disruption to customers and staff.
  • Experience using digital systems and standard software, including CAFM systems, email, Word and Excel.
  • Desirable: Blue CSCS, PASMA, IPAF, confined spaces, asbestos awareness, ladder inspection, first aid, welding or Gas Safe qualifications.

What We Offer:

  • Generous holiday allowance (32 days, rising with service up to 40 days)
  • Paid sick leave
  • Company pension (with employee contributions matched up to 12%)
  • Opportunities for training, career growth and development
  • Free membership across all our centres with access to fitness classes, gyms, and swimming pools
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
  • Access to discounts with a huge number of retailers (saving money in cinemas, restaurants, clothing, and electronics shops, on insurance and healthcare and much more)
