Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas and plumbing systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and practical skills to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair gas appliances, boilers, and central heating systems in accordance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and gas systems to identify faults or potential issues.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to carry out repairs and installations.
  • Perform heavy lifting of equipment or materials as required for installation or maintenance tasks.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and fit pipes using carpentry skills where necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each job.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues within plumbing or gas systems using mechanical knowledge.
  • Operate commercial driving vehicles to reach various sites when required.
