Drainage Engineer (Planned and Reactive work) Gloucester Area
Green Spark Environmental is an expanding national drainage services company. We specialise in bespoke pollution prevention, drainage and environmental services with blue chip, multi-site organisations, particularly contract logistics, warehousing, and through FM providers. We fix, audit, report, recommend and manage works to support our client's operations and compliance.
Our teams of engineers cover the UK, and we are currently recruiting for a variety of drainage engineers located in the Gloucester area to cover both planned and reactive works.
The role will involve all aspects of drainage maintenance on customer commercial sites. Planned maintenance will include Jetting drains, interceptor servicing, pump station inspection, cleaning gullies and ACO's as well as maintaining / repairing urinals and toilets, the ideal candidate will also have experience of dealing with blockages on both internal and external drainage in a reactive capacity.
Additional information:
Experience in plumbing would be an advantage.
Salary is based on experience and technical ability. Driving Licence is required.
This role would suit candidates with several years' experience across the spectrum of the drainage and environmental compliance or maintenance sector. Must be capable to work individually or as part of a team. You'll need to enjoy working outdoors in all weather and you must be physically fit as the job involves some heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
Travel will be throughout the country with overnight stays where appropriate. Generous overnight allowance when staying away, plus monthly mobile phone allowance. Plenty of overtime, with enhanced payments for any night shift work, weekends or being on standby.
40 hour week.
