Drainage/Groundworker Engineer

TT Drainage and Plumbing Services are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, keen individual to join our team. We are a family run company that carry out a large range of services across North Wales, Cheshire and the Wirral. Your role will be to attend, identify and rectify any problems or find the necessary remedy..

Skills and Interests - To be a Drainage Engineers you should:

  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and use common sense
  • Be physically fit and prepared to work outside in all weathers
  • Not be put off by unpleasant smells and substances
  • Be willing to work unsocial hours
  • Have an interest in technology and maintenance
  • Be able to use a large variety of tools and plant
  • Be able to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Be aware of health and safety regulations
  • Full driving licence
  • Drainage knowledge is not essential and you will be taught in most aspects of the basic drainage profession.

Working hours:
Hours of work to begin with are – Monday to Friday, 7.45 am – 5 pm. We are a 24hr company so can sometimes be late finishes depending on late incoming calls and location of calls, or early starts, depending on destination.

Job duties will be:

  • Working off plans
  • Clearing blocked drains, blocked toilets, sinks, pipes
  • CCTV Surveys
  • Maintenance work
  • Cleaning & repairing gutters
  • Locating, and repairing underground water leaks and burst water mains
  • Drain/water excavations and repairs
  • repairing manholes
  • excavation work and replacing of drains
  • Small plumbing jobs
