Job Overview:
Maintenance Assistant - Full-time - 37 hours per week

Salary 26,755 GBP per annum

Bradford Grammar School is looking to appoint a Maintenance Assistant to start September 2026.

The successful applicant will assist in providing general maintenance services across the entire School site as well as assisting with duties such as carparking and occasional overtime for events.

This is a unique opportunity to join a committed staff team in our exciting and forward-thinking School and would suit a dynamic individual with a background in joinery, plumbing or electrical, qualified to Level 2 or above Trade City & Guilds. Prior maintenance and customer service experience is required. You should be able to work under your own initiative or within a team and have basic IT skills.

First Aid qualification is desirable, but not essential as training will be given. Knowledge and experience in relevant areas of Health and Safety eg Manual Handling, Portable Appliance Testing, Legionella Awareness, IPAF, PASMA would be advantageous.
