About Us

Blenheim Plumbing & Heating Ltd is a plumbing and heating company based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. We carry out a wide range of plumbing, heating, servicing, maintenance and installation work for domestic customers, landlords and local businesses.

We pride ourselves on providing a reliable, professional and friendly service, with high standards of workmanship and customer care.

Due to our growing workload, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing and heating work across Oxfordshire, working independently and as part of our team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing plumbing and heating faults.
  • Carrying out general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Installing and replacing radiators, valves, taps and other plumbing components.
  • Investigating and repairing leaks.
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing central heating systems.
  • Carrying out boiler servicing, repairs and installations where appropriately qualified.
  • Working on domestic properties, rental properties and small commercial premises.
  • Communicating professionally with customers and providing clear information about work undertaken.
  • Completing job reports and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant regulations and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous experience working as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good knowledge of domestic plumbing and central heating systems.

Desirable:

  • Gas Safe registration and relevant gas qualifications.
  • Experience in boiler servicing, breakdowns and repairs.
  • Experience with heating controls and underfloor heating systems.
  • Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3.
