Drainage & Plumbing Engineer - The North/North West

Invincible Drain Care Ltd
Potential Earnings: £50,000 – £60,000 (with overtime)
Base Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (DOE & qualifications)
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent

About the Role

Invincible Drain Care Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Drainage & Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on drainage experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to and resolve internal and external drainage blockages
  • Carry out pre-planned maintenance works
  • Deliver quoted works to high standards
  • Undertake repairs, excavations, and general plumbing tasks
  • Operate HPWJ units and mechanical coring machines
  • Conduct CCTV surveys (where applicable)
  • Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Participate in the on-call rota

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Basic plumbing knowledge
  • Experience in drainage works
  • Experience with High-Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) equipment
  • Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude

Desirable:

  • Advanced plumbing skills
  • Mechanical coring machine experience (Picote, Spartan, etc.)
  • CCTV survey experience
  • CSCS certification
  • 2+ years’ experience in plumbing or drainage
