Overview

We are seeking skilled tradespeople for a comprehensive Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment project in. This contract requires versatile professionals capable of undertaking a variety of tasks across different trades. The ideal candidates will possess a broad range of skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and finishing. All positions are paid, including internship roles, and are essential to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality refurbishments within specified timelines. Applicants should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and working collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

  • Fabrication and assembly of bespoke kitchen and bathroom units using hand tools and power tools
  • Carpentry work including framing, fitting cabinets, doors, and skirting boards
  • Joinery tasks such as cutting, shaping, and installing timber components with precision
  • Installation of plumbing systems for sinks, baths, showers, and other fixtures
  • Electrical wiring and fitting for lighting, sockets, and appliances in compliance with regulations
  • Masonry work involving bricklaying or blockwork where necessary for structural or aesthetic purposes
  • Roofing repairs or installations as required to ensure waterproofing and insulation standards
  • Construction painting to prepare surfaces before finishing coats or touch-ups post-installation
  • Heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely in accordance with manual handling guidelines
  • Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

  • Proven experience in multiple trades relevant to kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Competence in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and painting is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers; as well as power tools like angle grinders or tile cutters
  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and safety standards applicable to refurbishment projects
  • Previous experience working on similar residential or commercial renovation projects is advantageous

Candidates should demonstrate versatility across trades with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality. All roles require individuals who are organised, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. All Candidates will need a CSCS card and complete the following Vital skills :Working at height, Asbestos Awareness, Coshh and confined space.

Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per hour
