Plumbing & Heating Engineer

About Us

We are a Nottinghamshire-based family heating company looking to recruit an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team. We are seeking a full-time permanent employee, although part-time applicants and contractors will also be considered.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Gas and/or oil boiler installations
  • Heating system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
  • Gas and/or oil boiler servicing
  • Power flushing heating systems
  • Basic plumbing work, including but not exclusively:
  • Replacing radiators
  • Replacing float valves
  • Replacing taps
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Working on fully pumped heating systems
  • Servicing and repair work
  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of S-Plan and Y-Plan systems, including wiring

Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Gas Safe Registration and/or OFTEC qualification preferred (not essential)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
