Opportunity Profile

Cenergist are looking to appoint a Plumbing Supervisor to join our established Water division. The Plumbing Supervisor will monitor supply chain performance ensuring install targets are met and quality is upheld throughout the life cycle of multiple projects whilst pro-actively providing solutions to problems faced. The role will involve driving the team and setting the pace, ensuring multiple labour teams, both direct and subcontracted, are working efficiently towards delivery targets. Key responsibilities are site and project management and installation of water efficiency products while ensuring the project delivery targets are met.

The position is a remote role, they will be regular travel to and from the project(s) daily within the Newmarket, Suffolk region.

Key Tasks

  • Manage direct and subcontracted labour on a day-to-day basis.
  • Training and Development of new employees
  • Provide support to the Programmes Manager as a key interface with all delivery partners.
  • Strong able communicator with the ability to negotiate both with the customer and within business.
  • Ensure project requirements are delivered within the agreed framework.
  • Effectively facilitating a portfolio of projects, ensuring deliverables are successfully achieved on time and to budget.
  • Ensures quality standards are met and monitoring sub-contractors and direct labour to ensure de-livery standards and compliance are maintained.
  • Engage in elements of risk management such as effectively managing and tracking the mitigation of risks.
  • Support with building and managing Cenergist’s installation supply chain of direct and subcontract-ed labour for our water efficiency projects.
  • Highlight and deliver any training and development needs within your team.
  • Assist with completion water efficiency surveys in domestic and commercial properties on behalf of our Clients.
  • Health and Safety management of the site and staff
  • Interface between the company and the end user

About You

Experience

  • At least 3-year experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience in a field based position.
  • Experience in maintenance plumbing.
  • City and Guilds Plumbing level 2 minimum, level 3 advantageous.
  • Water Regulations
  • WIAPS approved preferred but not essential.
  • EUSR blue card preferred but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of ACoP L8 would be advantageous.
  • Clean DBS certificate.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
  • Able to work with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Able to work with tablet and mobile devices
