Plumbing & Heating Improver | Eastbourne & East Sussex

Starting pay £14–£16 per hour, depending on practical experience.

DC Heating Plumbing & Renewables Ltd is looking for a Plumbing & Heating Improver to join our small, friendly team. This role would suit someone who has completed a plumbing or heating course at college, or gained practical experience working with another company as part of an apprenticeship, and is ready to build on what they’ve learnt.

We work on domestic projects across East Sussex, including new builds and renovations. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and get hands-on experience with a range of installations, from first fix through to the finishing stages.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with first and second fix plumbing and heating installations
  • Helping install pipework, bathroom fittings and underfloor heating systems
  • Working alongside our engineers on air source heat pump and ventilation installations
  • Keeping work areas tidy and taking pride in the quality of your work

What we’re looking for

  • Some plumbing or heating training through college or practical experience gained during an apprenticeship
  • A reliable, punctual approach and a willingness to learn
  • Someone who takes care with their work, listens to feedback and works well in a small team
