Job Title: Field Pipework Engineer

Locations: Nationwide, UK

About the Role: Are you an experienced engineer with expertise in water treatment systems and advanced pipework? We are looking for a Field Pipework Engineer who thrives in diverse environments and is eager to apply their technical skills across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and repair pipework systems, including MDPE (with a focus on 4-inch pipes) and PVC materials.​
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot water treatment systems and related infrastructure.​
  • Collaborate effectively within teams to deliver high-quality installations across various environments.​
  • Install and maintain IWS chemical dosing systems.​constructionplacements.com
  • Install, maintain, and service monitoring systems.​
  • Conduct water sampling and testing on-site, taking appropriate actions based on results.​
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members on-site.​
  • Conduct detailed system testing and verification to ensure optimal performance.​
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all installations and upgrades.​
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in water treatment technologies.​

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: At least 3 years in field engineering with a focus on complex pipework systems.​
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in installing and maintaining complex pipework systems, including 4-inch MDPE pipes.​
  • Understanding of pressure vessels and compliance with the Pressure Systems.
  • Experience with large and small pumping systems used in wastewater, irrigation/agricultural sites.
  • Familiarity with plant room installations and maintenance.​
  • Team Player: Excels in a team environment, contributing to and learning from group successes.​
  • Adaptability: Enthusiastic about frequent travel around the UK and the opportunity to work in various settings.
  • Credentials: Must hold a full UK Driving License and be knowledgeable about health and safety practices. Experience in industrial and/or agricultural plumbing is essential.​
  • Customer Facing: Must be adept at dealing and communicating with customers.​
