Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to learn more about the culinary arts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Ensure all kitchen supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
  • Remove waste and recycling from the kitchen area regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Support the culinary team during busy service periods by helping with various tasks as required.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
