Transitional Officer – International – Relocate to Australia

£44,875 - £45,950 per year – Full-time

Job Summary

Are you a current or recently serving police officer in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland? Join the Western Australia Police Force and continue your policing career in one of the world’s safest and most liveable regions.

We’re actively recruiting experienced officers for first responder/frontline policing roles across Perth and the surrounding metropolitan areas. As part of your transition, you’ll complete a 13-week paid training program at the Joondalup Police Academy before deployment.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a frontline police officer with WA Police, your duties include:

· Responding to emergency and non-emergency incidents

· Enforcing laws, maintaining public order and safety

· Protecting life and property

· Preventing, detecting and prosecuting crime

· Conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing case files

· Engaging with diverse communities with respect and visibility to build trust

· Working in team environments and contributing to operational plans

· Participating in patrols, traffic duties, and crime prevention initiatives

· Maintaining accurate reports and records

· Supporting victims and ensuring a high standard of service delivery

Qualifications and requirements

To be eligible you must meet the following criteria:

· Currently serving or previously served (within the last 18-months) as a police officer in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

· Completed probation and served at least 2 years and 8 months (must have 3 years of service at the time of visa nomination)

· Contemporary experience in a first responder/frontline role

· Hold a valid full driver’s license

· Be aged between 18 and under 55 years
