We're SocialTap, a performance marketing agency based in Warrington working with finance and event brands across the UK. We're an official Meta Business Partner and Google Partner, and we make ads that actually convert. Now we're looking for the person who'll make them: someone who can shoot, edit and design content to a genuinely high standard, and who gets a kick out of seeing their work perform.

The role

This is a hands-on creative role at the intersection of design, direct-response marketing and video production. You'll own the creative pipeline end to end: spotting the angle, scripting the hook, shooting and cutting the video, then reviewing the numbers and making the next version even better.

You'll work across a portfolio of lead gen and event clients, turning consumer research, platform trends and live ad data into high-converting visual and video assets for Meta, TikTok, Instagram and email, organic and paid.

If you're the type who watches an ad and immediately knows why it's working (or why it isn't), and you'd rather make the better version yourself than write a slide about it, this is your job.

What you'll be doing

• Shooting: directing and filming short-form, social-first video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) — lighting, framing, audio, the lot
• Editing: cutting scroll-stopping content in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut, with pace and polish that stands out in a feed
• Designing: high-converting static ads, email assets and campaign collateral in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Scripting: direct-response video ads, UGC briefs, hooks and headlines built to convert
• Optimising: working with our paid media team to review performance (ROAS, CTR, hook rate), A/B test creative and double down on what wins
• Staying sharp: keeping ahead of platform trends, editing techniques and AI creative tools so our output keeps evolving

What we're looking for

• 3+ years blending video production, graphic design and performance marketing (agency experience a plus)
• Strong hands-on shooting and editing skills — this is a maker role, not just a strategist role
• Deep knowledge of Meta and TikTok ad formats and direct-response principles, from awareness through to conversion
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and at least one pro video editor (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut)
• Comfortable juggling multiple brand accounts and fast deadlines without dropping quality, organised asset archives included

A portfolio is essential

Show us static ads, scripted video ads or short-form content that got real results. We'd rather see three pieces that performed than thirty that just look nice. Please include a link to your portfolio or showreel with your application.
