About Us

The Royal Victoria Hotel is a busy 104-bedroom hotel uniquely located at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) within Eryri National Park, set in 30 acres of private gardens and woodland in the beautiful village of Llanberis.

Our hotel features an AA Rosette restaurant, a popular dining and bar operation, and an award-winning wedding and events venue. Our team members are key to our success, and we are proud to employ many long-serving staff.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Night Porter to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running, safety, and security of the hotel overnight, while providing excellent service to our guests.

This role requires availability of up to 3 nights per week on a casual basis. Candidates can expect a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Shift Time: 11:00pm – 7:30am

Key Responsibilities

Late check-in and early check-out of guests

Ensuring the safety and security of the hotel overnight

Cleaning and maintaining public areas

Setting up and breaking down conference and event rooms

Delivering room service and early breakfasts

Providing excellent customer service at all times

Using the hotel computer system to complete the end-of-day function

Requirements

Reliable and able to work independently during night hours

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Basic computer skills

Due to our rural location, access to private transport is essential

Job Type: Part-time
