Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest services. The Porter will assist with various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment, particularly in the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kithcen and public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
  • Clean and set restaurant & bar for breakfast service
  • Assist with luggage handling and transportation for guests for early morning departures
  • Respond promptly to guest requests should they need assistance through the night
  • Demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.

Skills

  • Previous hotel experience is beneficial, particularly in guest services or hospitality roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Previous bar experience is beneficial
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
