Job Overview

Join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter, helping keep service running smoothly in a clean, organised environment. You’ll support chefs and front-of-house colleagues with essential kitchen tasks.

Your impact: By keeping equipment and work areas clean and ready, you help the team prepare food efficiently and provide guests with a welcoming hospitality experience.

Duties

  • Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, and return them to their proper places.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen surfaces, floors and storage areas in line with hygiene procedures.
  • Assist with basic food preparation and, when appropriate, cooking tasks under the kitchen team’s direction.
  • Receive and organise deliveries, replenish supplies and remove waste safely.
  • Support colleagues during busy service, including helping with serving tasks when needed.

Experience

  • A positive, reliable approach and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
  • Previous kitchen, restaurant or hospitality experience is useful but not required.
  • Hotel or other culinary experience, including food preparation, cooking or serving, is welcome.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
