Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Night Porter to join our team in North Petherton. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
  • Conduct regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure safety and security
  • Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone or in person, providing accurate information and assistance
  • Handle late-night reservations, cancellations, and special requests with courtesy and efficiency
  • Perform patrols of public areas to maintain a secure environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as logging incidents or maintenance requests during night shifts
  • Cleaning and preparation of our six conference spaces on a nightly bases to ensure the hotel is ready for each day.
  • Ensure the hotel's policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel operations or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
