Are you passionate about protecting your community from flooding? As a Flood Risk Management Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting our team to tackle flood risks and enhance community resilience. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, graduates, or those at the start of their careers to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills in a friendly and knowledgeable environment.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Assist in investigating local flooding and drainage issues.
  • Collect, input, and manage flood risk data including GIS.
  • Support projects aimed at improving community flood resilience.
  • Contribute to the development of flood risk and mitigation schemes

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A keen interest in environmental management or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of flood risk management principles.
  • Experience in data collection and management.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car (unless disability precludes this).
