Overview of the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join Resonate’s Business Graduate Programme at our Derby location. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple business function's across Resonate, working on impactful projects that support key business objectives and strategic initiatives. As part of the programme, you will complete structured rotations across core business functions, enabling you to build a strong foundation of skills, broaden your understanding, and develop a well-rounded perspective of the business. You will collaborate with experienced specialists, expand your professional network, and contribute to the business success from day one.

Throughout the programme, you will be supported by your managers, colleagues, and a dedicated mentor, alongside access to internal learning and development opportunities designed to accelerate your career within the organisation.

Programme Structure
The programme consists a number of rotations, each providing exposure to a different area of the business, such as:

  • Project Management
  • Human Resources
  • Finance

This structured approach will equip you with the capabilities, business acumen, and practical experience needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving business environment.


Requirements

  • Education to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline or field
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to learn across multiple technical areas
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Highly organised, resilient, and able to manage your workload and commitments

Skills and Experience:Essential

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A good level of commercial awareness and interest in how businesses operate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Driven about what you want from a career with the flexibility to be the best you can
  • Assured and approachable, able to build relationships and collaborate effectively
  • Able to manage tasks and problems independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt across different business functions

Desirable
  • A degree or equivalent level experience in one of the rotation specialism
  • Experience working with data analysis or visualisation tools (e.g. Excel advanced functions, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Internship, placement year, or part-time experience in a business-related environment
  • Exposure to any of the following areas through academic projects or experience: HR or Finance
