About the Service

The Worcestershire 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service operates across Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Malvern, Wyre Forest and Wychavon. You will be based within one locality but may occasionally provide support across the county, with mileage expenses reimbursed.

Bromsgrove- 32 Hours per week.

Worcester, Redditch, Wyre Forest, Droitwich and Malvern 26 hours per week

About the Role

Working alongside Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors) and a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 0-5 years and their families.

Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
Undertaking health and developmental assessments.
Providing targeted support and early intervention for children and families.
Promoting health, wellbeing and positive parenting.
Supporting families during key transition periods, including preparing children for school.
Working collaboratively with Family Hubs and partner agencies.
Contributing to safeguarding and child protection practice.
Supporting the wider public health agenda through evidence-based interventions.
