We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Regional Clinical Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician with a strong background in elderly care and a proven track record of driving quality improvements and service turnaround.

For the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate will work predominantly within one of our complex nursing homes, providing dedicated clinical leadership and support. Working closely alongside the Home Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening quality, embedding robust clinical governance processes and supporting the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care.

As the service develops, the role will transition into a broader regional position, providing clinical support and oversight across multiple homes within the group.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked within a senior position at a nursing home, or on a multi-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible clinical leadership and support to the Home Manager and wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Drive improvements in quality, compliance and clinical outcomes.
  • Embed effective clinical governance frameworks and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support with audits, action plans and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor and develop nursing teams to enhance clinical practice and resident experience.
  • Monitor key quality indicators and support services in achieving and sustaining high standards.
  • Work collaboratively with operational colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • In time, provide clinical support and guidance across a number of services within the region.

About You

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin.
  • Significant experience within elderly care settings, ideally including complex care services.
  • Demonstrable success in supporting service improvement or turnaround programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the region as the role expands into a multisite position.

If you are an experienced nurse leader with a passion for improving quality and delivering exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.
