Full job description

Locum Practice Nurse – WR12

November & December | 08:30–16:30 | EMIS

We are looking for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to support a friendly GP practice in the WR12 area throughout November and December initially.

This is a great opportunity to join a welcoming team and provide support with general day-to-day Practice Nursing duties.

The Role:

  • Locum assignment throughout November and December initially.
  • Working hours: 08:30–16:30.
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays preferred, but not essential.
  • Clinical system: EMIS.
  • Working within a supportive Primary Care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Practice Nursing duties.
  • Wound care and dressings.
  • Vaccinations and immunisations.
  • Cervical screening (smears).
  • Contraception and pill checks.
  • Asthma and diabetes reviews would be advantageous but are not essential.
