Location: Dunfermline, Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 16:30pm
Contract: Initial 4–8 week assignment (potential to extend)

Nothing But Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse with an A&E, Emergency Department, or Trauma background to support a client within an engineering environment in Dunfermline, Scotland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking to use their acute clinical skills outside of a traditional hospital setting, providing medical support within a busy engineering and industrial workplace.

The Role

You will provide first-line medical support within an engineering environment, assessing and managing minor injuries, mild trauma cases, and workplace incidents.

You will be responsible for responding to medical situations, providing appropriate care, documenting incidents, and ensuring any concerns are escalated appropriately.

Working closely with the client team, you will help maintain a safe working environment by supporting employee health and wellbeing and ensuring incidents are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide initial treatment for minor injuries and mild trauma cases
  • Respond to workplace incidents and provide immediate medical support
  • Complete accurate incident reports and clinical documentation
  • Escalate concerns in line with workplace procedures
  • Provide advice and reassurance to employees following incidents
  • Maintain professional standards and confidentiality
  • Work independently within an engineering workplace environment

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
  • Previous experience within A&E, Emergency Department, Trauma, Urgent Care, or similar acute settings
  • Confident assessing injuries and making appropriate clinical decisions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently within a workplace environment

Desirable:

  • Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) experience
  • Trauma qualification or experience managing workplace injuries
  • Previous experience in occupational health, industrial, or manufacturing environments

Contract Details

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:30am – 16:30pm
  • Initial 4–8 week contract with potential extension
  • Immediate start available
