Location: South School, SE1

Hours:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
  • Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm

The Complete Works (TCW) is seeking an exceptional Teaching & Learning Officer to join our South School Education team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher, coach and leader who is passionate about developing teachers, raising standards and ensuring that every young person receives the highest quality educational experience possible.

At TCW, we work with young people who have often faced significant barriers to education, including SEND, SEMH needs, school avoidance, anxiety and complex life circumstances. High-quality teaching is at the heart of everything we do. As a Teaching & Learning Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing teaching practice across our schools, supporting staff to grow professionally and ensuring our educational provision remains innovative, creative and impactful.

About the Role

The Teaching & Learning Officer role at The Complete Works (TCW) focuses on driving high-quality education and professional development across the organisation. The successful candidate will support teachers through coaching, lesson observations, and line management, ensuring that staff are equipped to meet the needs of students with diverse barriers to learning, such as SEND and SEMH. This position balances strategic leadership with classroom engagement, requiring the officer to maintain a teaching timetable of up to 18 hours per week while modelling excellent pedagogical practice.
