VACANCY FOR QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE

We have an exciting vacancy due to additional dentists joining our team. The role would involve working at our practices in Cleobury Mortimer (near Kidderminster DY14 8).

The role would be full time Monday-Friday. Part time may be available and can be discussed at interview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our team of dentists and hygienists to provide high-quality dental care to patients.
  • Chair-side assisting during dental procedures, including taking radiographs and impressions, and preparing and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients during their dental procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and at ease throughout.
  • Ensure all aspects of health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to in the clinic, including infection control and clinical waste management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Assist in the administration of the clinic, including booking appointments, taking payments, and ordering supplies.

Requirements:

  • A qualified and GDC registered dental nurse with experience in chair-side assisting. We are also taking applications for trainees and apprentices.
  • A good knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, and experience with digital radiography and impression taking.
  • Strong, positive communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow procedures.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
