We're one of the fastest-growing groundcare machinery companies in the UK, with a brand-new, purpose-built headquarters, workshop and service centre at East Horton, Hampshire and we're looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join us and be part of what we're building.

We represent some of the finest brands in the industry; INFINICUT, Jacobsen, Kress, Wessex International, Iseki, TruTurf and more. You'll be working on machinery that matters, trusted by elite sports turf professionals across England.

The Role

This is a hybrid position, you'll split your time between our state-of-the-art workshop at East Horton and client sites across the region, travelling in one of our branded specialist service vehicles. No two days are the same, and the variety of machinery, environments and clients means this role genuinely rewards curiosity, initiative and pride in a job well done.

We're a tight-knit team where relationships matter with our clients and with each other. You'll be representing Wildwood at some of the finest sporting venues in the country, so how you present yourself and interact with clients is just as important as the quality of your work.

What You'll Be Doing

Workshop

• Daily servicing, repair and set-up of groundcare machinery and equipment to the highest standard
• Sharpening of all cutting units and mowing blades - precision and quality are everything
• PDI and preparation of new machinery prior to customer delivery
• Detailed parts and inventory control
• Accurate completion of all job cards, work records and documentation

Field & Client Sites

• Performing diagnostics and repairs at client sites across southern England
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance visits and machinery health checks
• Providing accurate information to support repair quotations
• Representing Wildwood professionally at all times, you'll be the face of the business on the road
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with Head Groundsmen, Course Managers and client contacts

Who We're Looking For

You don't have to have come from a groundcare background, if you've got the mechanical instinct and the right attitude, we'll back you to make the transition. What can't be taught is attention to detail, personal pride in the quality of your work, and the kind of character that makes clients feel in safe hands.

You'll bring:

• A solid mechanical or engineering background - groundcare experience is a real advantage but not essential
• A keen eye for detail and an uncompromising approach to quality
• Good communication skills - you'll be working directly with clients at elite venues
• The ability to work independently on the road and as part of a workshop team
• A methodical approach to diagnostics and fault-finding
• Experience in cylinder-grinding is a bonus - full training available if not
• A full UK driving licence
