About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school located in the Prescot area of Knowsley. This school is seeking a nuturing and committed Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis from 1st September 2026.

We currently have multiple roles available in this school, and we would like to schedule interviews/trial sessions in the coming weeks. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30. Opportunities for permanent recruitment available for the successful candidate in the 2026/7 academic year.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
  • Experience in EYFS/KS1 would be an advantage
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly ASD
