Role Information

Our Prescription Services Team plays a crucial role in the end‑to‑end journey of getting medicines safely to patients. They are the bridge between prescribing clinicians and internal pharmacy operations. Their work ensures that prescriptions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

This team is seeking enthusiastic office - based Pharmacy Operations Team Leader, who will play a key part in delivering our mission by ensuring our clinical fulfilment operations run efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You’ll lead a talented team of administrators, dispensers or trainee dispensers, monitoring KPI’s, optimising workflows and driving continuous improvement.

Duties will include:

  • Lead, coach and develop your team, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and team members are supported through relevant qualifications.
  • Deliver against operational KPIs, monitoring performance and driving accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to increase productivity and improve quality.
  • Maintain robust quality measures, reviewing trends monthly and completing individual quality reviews with every team member.
  • Conduct regular documented 1:1s, performance reviews, and manage capability/disciplinary processes when needed.
  • Support ongoing service development by proactively reviewing processes and suggesting improvements.
