Salary: M1–M6 (Teachers' Pay Scale)

Inspire, Challenge and Make a Difference

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive two-form entry primary school in Widnes from September 2026.

We are seeking a passionate classroom practitioner who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and creating engaging learning experiences that enable every child to achieve their full potential.

Working alongside an experienced parallel Year 5 teacher and a collaborative leadership team, you will become part of a school that values teamwork, professional development and high aspirations for all pupils.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placement experience are welcome to apply).
  • Deliver creative, engaging and well-planned lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Demonstrate high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil progress.
  • Be committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive year group team.
