We are seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging activities and play experiences.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and development plans.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team to provide the highest standards of care and education.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Childcare (full and relevant qualification recognised in England).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, reliable, and professional approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Valid and up-to-date Pediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Safeguarding training.
- Experience with observations, assessments, and planning in line with EYFS.
