About us

The Little Bears Nursery has been established since 2019. Providing full day care for children from 2 years old. We have launched our small scale before and after school club for children who attend the local school, Hatfield Peverel. This is for children up until the age of 8 years old.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and energetic After School Club Team Member to join our After School Club in Hatfield Peverel.

The role will involve collecting the children from school and bringing them back to our designated after school club room. The role will also involve planning and preparing engaging activities and providing a safe a nurturing environment. The children will be given a light tea during their session.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 2:45pm - 6:00pm. Term Time only.

Salary: £12.75 - £13.00 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities

· The After School Club Team Member will plan to deliver a range of exciting and fun activities for the primary school aged children who attend the After School Club, providing high quality experiences and opportunities too!

· To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the After School Club.

· To create strong parent relationships.

· To ensure that the Out of School Club conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.

· To gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures.

· To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.

Job Type: Part-time (Term Time only)

Part-time hours: 16.25 hours per week

Salary: £12.75 - £13.00 Per Hour

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
