Job Overview
Boom Sports has been inspiring children through fun, active, and educational services for over 10 years. We deliver high-quality sports coaching and wraparound childcare in primary schools across West London, helping children stay active, happy and confident every day.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for enthusiastic coaches who are passionate about working with children.

The Role

We’re seeking confident, energetic and adaptable Sports & Activity Coaches to plan and lead engaging sessions for children aged 4–11. You will create a safe, fun environment while delivering a mix of sports, games, and creative activities.

Available Term-Time Roles (Mon–Fri)

  • Breakfast Club: 7:20am–8:50am
  • Lunchtime Club: 11:45am-1:15pm
  • After School Care: 3:00pm–6:00pm

What You’ll Do

Breakfast Club & After School Care

  • Plan and lead varied activities such as sports, team games, arts & crafts, and puzzles.
  • Support children’s wellbeing and build positive relationships.
  • Create a safe and fun environment both indoors and outdoors.

Lunchtime Club

  • Plan and lead sports sessions at lunchtime.
  • Support children’s wellbeing and build positive relationships.
  • Create a safe and fun environment.

What We’re Looking For

You must:

  • Be available Monday–Friday during school term time.
  • Be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
  • Live within 30 minutes of the school location.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with primary school-age children.
  • Sports coaching and/or childcare qualification.
  • Experience leading wraparound care (breakfast/after school).
  • Paediatric First Aid trained.

Optional Extra Hours

Wanting to earn extra? You have the flexibility to also work:

  • School Holidays: Holiday Camps (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm)
  • Weekends: Sports Birthday Parties (flexible hours)
