Primary Supply Teacher

Are you a qualified primary teacher with QTS looking for flexible work in a supportive school environment? A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Tameside is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join their team from the new academic year in September.

The Role - Supply Teacher

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete set work
  • Provide clear feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day
  • Adapt lessons where needed to support all learners
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive classroom environment

About You

To be considered, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
