Year 2 Teacher - Primary School (Oldham)
Part-Time | September 2026 - February 2027 | Key Stage 1 Role

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham on a part-time basis from September 2026 through to February 2027.

This inclusive and community-focused school is committed to providing a safe, engaging and inspiring learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. With a strong emphasis on core skills, phonics and preparation for the transition into Key Stage 2, the school is looking for a committed KS1 practitioner who can build confidence and secure learning during this important stage.

The Successful Candidate Will:
  • Deliver engaging and creative Year 2 lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Support pupils' development in reading, writing and maths, with a continued focus on phonics
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
  • Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents and support teams to promote positive outcomes
To Be Considered You Must:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2 or Early Years
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing teaching style
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil development
