Primo Drinks are the largest family-owned and operated drinks wholesalers within the UK Drinks Industry.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Van (company van provided) Delivery Driver to join our team.

This position will be based in our North East depot and will require deliveries to surrounding area's.

Requirements

Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a van.

Hours:

9am - 6pm, 5 days a week and WILL INCLUDE WEEKEND WORK.

Duties:

  • Prepares van for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards.
  • Always exceed the customer’s expectations through high level customer service - polite, well mannered, etc
  • Help loading van by placing and securing items.
  • Deliver items to customers, operating the van and unloading items.
  • Serve customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints and / or adjusting orders.
  • Adhering to payment terms instructions meaning liaising with staff re payment method i.e. accepting cash / cheques or ensuring customers have paid by card or bank transfer.
  • Participate in stock takes and other warehouse duties.
  • Must be well presented at all times.
  • Driving experience of Transit or similar vehicle is essential.
  • Must have a good physical fitness level as the position requires **heavy manual lifting**
  • Must have high hygiene standards. ***This is necessity***
