Established in 2003, we pride ourselves on our industry leading delivery service which is available 7 days a week and also offers a same day delivery service option every day. We have an impressive portfolio of over 3,000 products, which offer great variety whilst staying very competitive on price. Our Buying Team are always looking at ways to provide you with the best promotions both in price and added value, and always try to be first to market with new products, so that you get these brands before your competition does. We have a dedicated Customer Service team designed to take all your orders, log any queries and keep all of our customers updated of any promotions and offers. THE ROLE

Due to the growth within the business, we are recruiting for Business Development Manager in South Yorkshire to join our successful team.

This dynamic role involves managing existing accounts, seeking opportunities for business expansion, and establishing a strong presence in bars, hotels, restaurants and other establishments. To succeed you must be organised, reliable and results driven. You will have a practical mindset, able to solve problems partnered with the ability to see the big picture.

The key responsibilities include account management, new business development, strategic planning, and execution of commercial agreements, as well as network development and collaboration with key stakeholders.

The role aims to drive volume, revenue, and brand building activations while fostering strong relationships. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in sales and the ability to strategically navigate and succeed in diverse sales channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Achieve Sales Targets & Growth:

· Account Management: Skillfully manage existing accounts working with these accounts to maximise and realise their growth potential. Establishing productive and effective relationships with customers, suppliers and within the business.

· New Business Development: Actively identify opportunities and secure new business partnerships.

· Network Development: Establish a robust network within the trade, engaging with bartenders, buyers, and other key influencers

· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers, including other Business Development Managers, and collaborate with various departments

· Sales Reporting: prepare and manage sales reports to highlight areas which would require attention or celebrate success

· Managing Client Database: managing the client systems to ensure accurate data held

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven experience of sales within the drinks/wholesale channel or within the drinks wholesale/Brewery channel

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.

· Can-do attitude to finding solutions for adverse situations.

· Strong team player with the positive passion to succeed.

· Progressive, forward thinker; able to spot areas for improvement and act to ensure competitive advantage.

· Attention to detail and follow through on actions. This encompasses attention not just to areas in your immediate responsibility but to the wider business. You need to understand the levers to your success and recognise trends to recommend change to preserve competitive advantage.

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.

Salary negotiable on experience
