Hourly Rate: £29.21 - £30.54

Salary: £53,310.93 - £55,738.18 per annum

Contract Duration: Temporary until 29/06/2029

Hours: 35 hours per week

Role Purpose

A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Senior Building Standards Surveyor, based at Council headquarters in Newtown St. Boswells.   • BSc in Building Standards or recognised equivalent
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors [MRICS] or recognised equivalent.
  • Proven record of relevant CPD training

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
