Job Title: Estimator - Full Time

Company: J3 Roofing & Facades

Location: London / South East

Hours / Salary: Upto £70,000

Must-Haves

  • Experience: Proven track record estimating roofing and/or façade packages.
  • Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of envelope systems (zinc, rainscreen, SFS, flat roofing).
  • Software: Proficient in Bluebeam, estimating software, and Excel take-offs.

The Role & Company

J3 Roofing & Facades is a fast-growing specialist contractor delivering top-tier building envelope solutions. You will manage tenders from initial enquiry to handover, driving our commercial growth through accurate, compliant estimation and strong stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and BOQs from drawings and specifications.
  • Produce value engineering options and project risk assessments.
  • Manage tender deadlines, submissions, and post-tender handovers to the contracts team.
  • Liaise closely with clients, main contractors, and suppliers.

Desirable Extras

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Knowledge of current Building Regulations and façade compliance standards.
  • Experience with Design & Build projects.
