Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly professional Housekeeper to join a private household, delivering exceptional standards of housekeeping, organisation and service. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring discretion, initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining immaculate presentation of the main residence and guest accommodation.
  • Daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, and household organisation.
  • Stock management and household inventory.
  • Coordinating specialist cleaning and liasing with contractors
  • Preparing guest accommodation, meal planning and organising activities
  • Running occasional household errands and assisting with light catering
  • Caring for high-value furnishings, antiques and delicate finishes.
  • Supporting the smooth day to day running of the household

Experience

  • Previous experience within a private household, luxury hospitality or similar environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Professional, trustworthy and able to maintain complete confidentiality
  • Knowledge of professional cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
  • Skills in basic cooking or meal preparation are desirable but not essential
  • Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism and discretion
  • Familiarity with household organisation and maintenance tasks
  • Exceptional references from previous private household are required
