Looking for greater control over your income, more independence and a career where your effort directly influences your earnings?
At Marston, we're growing our network of Self-Employed Enforcement Agents across the UK and are looking for motivated individuals who want to build a rewarding long-term career.
What You Need To Know
This is a self-employed opportunity.
If you don't already hold an Enforcement Agent certificate, you'll complete our 12-week Enforcement Agent Development Programme (EADP), which provides the knowledge, training and support needed to become a Certificated Enforcement Agent.
During your training and certification period, you can expect to earn approximately £4,000.
Once certificated, realistic earnings are typically between £35,000 and £90,000+ per year, with no upper earning limit for motivated and high-performing individuals.
This opportunity will suit candidates who are comfortable with a self-employed earnings model and are motivated by the opportunity to increase their income over time.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Self-Employed Enforcement Agent, you'll work within your local area, visiting customers on behalf of clients to recover outstanding debts and achieve compliance with court orders.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing your own territory and workload
- Visiting customers at residential and business addresses
- Explaining available options and payment solutions
- Negotiating appropriate outcomes
- Gathering information and assessing circumstances
- Acting professionally and compliantly at all times
This is a field-based role that combines communication, problem-solving and independent working.
No two days are the same.

Successful Enforcement Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds.
We're looking for people who can demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence and resilience

- Self-motivation and accountability
- Experience dealing with customers or challenging situations
- The ability to work independently
Essential Requirements
- A full UK driving licence
- Ability to travel across your local territory
- Willingness to work on a self-employed basis

- Security and Uniformed Services
- Trades and Technical professions
- Logistics and Operational roles
- Sales, Collections and Recovery
- Self-Employment and Business Ownership
No previous enforcement experience is required.
If you have the right attitude and transferable skills, we'll provide the training and support needed to become a Certificated Enforcement Agent.

- Through our Enforcement Agent Development Programme, you'll receive:
- Full training and certification support
- Approximately £4,000 earnings during the training period
- Dedicated mentoring and field coaching
- Ongoing operational support
- Industry-leading technology
