Job Overview
We are a newly acquired insurance brokerage based in Central London and we are looking for a highly driven experienced but fiercely entrepreneurial insurance broker with experience of SME and consumer insurance requirements. Must have a understanding of compliance and be able to launch and drive new schemes and in time build a team around themselves.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Insurance Broker to lead our emerging team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with a passion for driving sales and knowledge of how to deliver outreach - they will need to also be familiar with the regulatory requirements of a midsize brokerage. In time you will be required to assemble a team focussed on analysing clients' needs and offering innovative/ tailored insurance solutions that meet their requirements alongside standard general policies.

Responsibilities

  • Launch products and drive marketing channels / third parties to deliver leads.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies on behalf of clients.
  • Market insurance products to potential clients through various channels, including telemarketing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to provide the best advice to clients.

Requirements

  • Clear and provable regulatory knowledge and ability to work with a third party compliance company in ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Familiarity with telemarketing techniques is advantageous and text, email and social media outreach campaigns.
  • A proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Relevant qualifications in insurance or financial services would be beneficial but not essential.
