Experienced Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Renewals Adviser – Fully Remote

IMPORTANT – MINIMUM 2 YEARS' UK PMI EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

This is a specialist position requiring existing PMI knowledge. It is not an entry-level or trainee role.

Experience solely in general insurance, motor insurance, home insurance, life insurance or unrelated sales roles does not meet this requirement.

About the opportunity

Morehealth is a specialist private medical insurance brokerage looking for an experienced PMI Renewals Adviser to join our team on a fully remote basis.

You will be responsible for managing renewals for an established portfolio of existing clients, helping them review their cover, understand their options and make informed decisions about their private medical insurance.

This is an existing-client renewals role, not a cold-calling or new business prospecting position.

Your responsibilities

• Manage private medical insurance renewals for existing clients.
• Review premiums, policy benefits and client requirements.
• Discuss suitable renewal options and alternative cover.
• Liaise with leading UK PMI insurers.
• Retain existing clients through excellent service and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage renewal follow-ups.
• Meet agreed retention, quality and performance targets.
• Ensure all advice and customer communications meet applicable FCA requirements.

Essential requirements

• At least 2 years' professional experience in UK Private Medical Insurance.
• Good working knowledge of major UK PMI insurers and their products.
• Understanding of PMI underwriting methods, including moratorium and full medical underwriting.
• Experience speaking directly with PMI customers.
• Excellent telephone communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload independently.
• Comfortable working remotely using CRM systems and telephone-based processes.

Previous experience in a specialist PMI brokerage, insurer renewals team or health insurance advisory role is particularly desirable.
