About the role

At HUM2N, our Senior Medical Receptionists are the first point of contact for our patients and play an important part in creating a warm, professional and welcoming clinic experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, has excellent customer service skills and takes pride in keeping things organised. You will support the smooth running of the clinic by welcoming patients, managing appointments, processing payments and assisting the clinical and operations teams with day-to-day tasks.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

What you will be doing

Welcoming patients

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check patients in for their appointments
  • Offer refreshments and ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming
  • Help patients feel comfortable during their visit

Appointments and patient support

  • Book and manage appointments
  • Help patients with booking changes, cancellations and general enquiries
  • Confirm appointments and provide any preparation information when needed
  • Encourage patients to arrange follow-up appointments before leaving the clinic

Payments and administration

  • Take payments accurately
  • Ensure invoices are completed correctly
  • Support end-of-day payment checks and reporting
  • Keep patient records up to date and ensure documentation is complete

Clinic operations

  • Prepare supplement and testing orders for dispatch
  • Monitor stock levels of clinic supplies and inform the team when items need reordering
  • Help keep patient areas clean, organised and well presented
  • Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as required

Teamwork

  • Work closely with clinicians, the virtual concierge team and colleagues across the clinic
  • Share important information with the team and ask for support when needed
  • Take part in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve patient experience

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, reception or a similar patient-facing role
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using computers and digital systems
  • Ability to work calmly in a busy environment
  • Smart and professional presentation

Desirable

  • Experience in a private healthcare, wellness or clinic environment
  • Experience using appointment booking or CRM systems such as Pabau or HubSpot
  • Experience handling payments
