Bath, Somerset

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading hospital group who are transforming the way patients access private healthcare. At present, we are looking for confident, compassionate and commercially-minded Senior Patient Liaison Officer to join their team located in Bath.

This isn't a traditional administration role. You'll be the trusted point of contact for patients considering surgery, helping them understand their treatment options, answering questions, guiding them through the quotation process and supporting them in making informed decisions. Every conversation you have helps patients move confidently towards the care they need while contributing to the continued growth of our client's self-pay services.

If you're someone who enjoys building relationships, influencing decisions and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Working closely with consultants, medical secretaries and colleagues across the hospital, you'll manage patients throughout their quotation journey, ensuring every interaction is professional, accurate and compassionate.

You'll:

  • Contact patients following consultant appointments to discuss their surgical quotations.
  • Build rapport and confidently guide patients through their options.
  • Answer questions relating to procedures, pricing and available finance options.
  • Prepare, issue and accurately manage patient quotations.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants and medical secretaries to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Support patients from enquiry through to booking their procedure.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience while achieving agreed conversion targets.
  • Ensure every quote is accurate, compliant and delivered promptly.

Working Pattern

This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 30 hours per week. This will be worked 3 longer days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines empathy with commercial awareness.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in sales, customer service or patient-facing environments.
  • Confidence discussing sensitive subjects including health and finances.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong influencing and objection-handling abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, organised and resilient approach.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy hospital environment.

Experience within healthcare is welcome but not essential. What matters most is your ability to build trust, communicate confidently and provide an outstanding experience for every patient.

Salary & Benefits

In return, there is a generous salary of up to £34,000 pro rata based on experience. Our client is also offering an exceptional benefits package including:

  • Free onsite parking
  • Health & wellbeing benefits including Private Medical Insurance
  • Enhanced parental and adoption leave
  • Generous annual leave entitlement which increases with length of service
  • Staff discount
  • Highstreet & retailer discounts
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Supportive team & More!
