Shifts: Every Saturday & Sunday, plus one or two weekdays (variable based on hospital schedule)

Hours: 24 hours over 3 or 4 shifts per week)

The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and confident Post‑Operative Nurse to join our clinical team. You will play a vital role in supporting patients immediately after their cosmetic procedures, ensuring they receive high‑quality aftercare and feel reassured during their recovery period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post‑operative assessments, including wound checks, dressing changes, and monitoring vital signs.
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care in line with hospital protocols.
• Offer clear, empathetic communication and reassurance to patients following surgery.
• Escalate any clinical concerns to the senior nursing or surgical team.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and recovery staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Uphold the hospital’s commitment to outstanding patient experience and safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered).
• Experience in post‑operative, surgical, or recovery nursing (cosmetic surgery experience desirable but not essential).
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliability and flexibility to work weekends plus one rotating weekday.
