Nursery Manager - Term Time Only

Are you thinking of a role as a nursery manager? Are you qualified and experienced, or a newly qualified candidate, or working toward a BA in Childhood Practice?

If so, we would love to hear from you!

Hop Skip and Jump are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Manager. This position will suit a candidate who has a little experience in this capacity, or an experienced Deputy Manager looking to move forward in their career.

As Nursery Manager, your role will be to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and our small team, provide creative and refreshing outlooks and ideas to continue to improve our daily practice, whilst ensuring all children receive high quality care and education.

If you are looking to take a step further in your career towards management, enthusiastic with a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and have the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, staff and other professionals, we hope to hear from you!

The successful candidate will have experience in a leadership role, along with a minimum qualification of a BA in Childhood Practice - or have started to work towards the BA in Childhood Practice.

Hop Skip and Jump is a private nursery, where we value warmth and kindness as part of our ethos. Please be aware this is a term time position only, as the nursery is open 39 weeks per year. We close during the school holidays.

We offer 25 days of paid holiday, and the option to be paid pro-rata.

The start date of this role will be discussed at interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
