Legal Secretary – Private Client
Tattenhall Office | Full-time or Part-time
Could you be the organised, calm and friendly person every Private Client team needs?
We’re looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Private Client team at our Tattenhall office.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving. You’ll work closely with our fee earners, helping them stay organised, providing excellent support to clients and making sure the day-to-day running of matters is as smooth as possible.
What will you be doing?
You’ll provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to our Private Client team, including:
- Preparing and formatting correspondence and legal documents
- Managing emails, post, telephone calls and general enquiries
- Opening and maintaining client files
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Assisting with the smooth progression of client matters
- Liaising with clients, colleagues and other professionals
- Carrying out general administrative tasks and keeping fee earners organised
- Helping to make sure our clients receive the friendly, professional service we’re known for
What are we looking for?
You’ll ideally have previous experience as a legal secretary, particularly within Private Client, Wills & Probate or a similar area of law.
But more important than ticking every box is being someone who is:
- Organised – you like a good list and know what needs doing next
- Reliable – your colleagues know they can count on you
- A great communicator – friendly, professional and confident dealing with people
- Detail-focused – you spot the little things others might miss
- Proactive – you don’t always need to be asked twice
- A team player – you’ll happily muck in and help where needed
- Tech-comfortable – you’re confident using Word, Outlook and general office systems
Why join us?
You’ll be joining a supportive team where your contribution genuinely matters. We’re interested in finding the right person, rather than simply someone who can tick every box on a job description.
We’re also happy to consider both full-time and part-time applications, so if you’re looking for a role that fits around your life, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: Tattenhall
Team: Private Client
Hours: Full-time or Part-time considered
If you’re organised, personable and ready to become an important part of a busy Private Client team, we’d love to hear from you.
Please apply through Indeed with your CV and a little bit about yourself.
Pay: £24,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
Work Location: In person
